- Kev brought our first new Doha car home today... a 2007 Kia Sportage (white, V6) with just enough door nicks to make me not feel super psychotic about my future nicks that will surely blend in.
- Our resettlement allowance finally cleared the bank here so we can finish buying Kev's 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe (black, V6, 7 seater) when we return from vacation. This is the car I will never likely drive due to fear above previously mentioned door nicks.
- We finished the last bit of negotiations for our home sale and have everything signed and buttoned up to close next Friday!
We are pulling an all-nighter to board a 4:40am flight that starts a wicked 24+ hours of travel from Doha>Abu Dhabi>Chicago>Atlanta. We spend the night in Atlanta and then hit Myrtle Beach on Saturday for a week with Kevin's family, then he hikes the AT the following week. Then it's Knoxville>Chicago>Abu Dhabi>Doha. We'll see if saving a few bucks is worth the insanity of all these flights.
