That's the hand and smile of a gal who finally got her wedding ring off this week. It sounds so silly, but I've had that darn thing stuck for at least 6 years on my finger without being able to take it off. My engagement ring is a 7 and my wedding ring was a 5.5, indicating how big or small my hand was when the event took place. My fingers simply adjustied to wearing such a small ring, but it's just been stuck forever and all I've wanted to do was take it off... just to take it off!
A little twisting was all it took. Now that it's off I realize just how much I spun that ring each day. And my finger throbs a little, like the ring is still choking it. It's a strange sensation!
Kev comes home tonight with my recently repaired engagement ring and after a few weeks of letting my finger breathe I may just wear that one for a while.
That's funny Keri. Same with my diamond ring from Rick...my finger got fatter but the ring stayed put. I just had a permanent indentation where the ring was. The things we do for love ! Heheheheh
