How to buy an air filter for your car in Doha

Oh you folks in the US just take your Pep Boys and AutoZones for granted!   We are in the process of selling my car and it is due for a service that is basically an oil change and a new air filter.   The Mobil station where we got the oil change does not carry air filters (the #1 upsell of every American oil change shop), so our quest to find an air filter begins!

Here is the email I got from Kevin earlier today...

Just got off the phone w/ Kia. I cannot make this up…

• Spoke w/ Mohsen
• Indicated they have air filters at Kia location on Salwa Rd.
• Asked about the price…I make you good price
• Exchanged phone numbers – I will check price
• How many km on car, 4 or 6-cylinder (sounds promising right?)
• I tried to confirm that the dealer had the air filter and no need to go to Industrial Area
• Asked what time I would come by the dealer
• Back to the car, asked again about model
• Stated they only had part for the Sorento (bigger and better)
• Come to the showroom. We make you good price. New lines and body style – I make you good price.

So…not exactly sure where to get an air filter.  :)
