This was top rated on Amazon and we found it on Craigslist quite cheap. It vibrates, makes noise and has dangling birds to look at (see the awesome reveling below), but best of all - it bounces. Adam can jiggle around his limbs and get a light bounce or since it sits on the floor we can bounce it with our toe quite easily. He loves it!
WubbaNub is a Beanie Baby-type toy with a pacifier sewn into it. The duck's limbs are weighted with some type of "bean" which helps keep the pacifier in place longer than the average pacifier when Adam is swaddled in bed for the night. I was a skeptic at first, but now this works like a champ, keeping the pacifier positioned in place long enough for him to fall asleep.Summer Infant SwaddleMe®
We love the SwaddleMe wraps and bemoan the fact that we didn't bring them to the hospital! We spent three days at the hospital trying to perfect the burrito baby wrap with a blanket, then finally tried the SwaddleMe when we got home... what a difference! You put the baby's feet in the bottom pouch, wrap the left side (securing with velcro to the center piece) and wrap the right side (securing with velcro to the outside). It is SO EASY and Adam has yet to wriggle out of it. It also makes him quite easy to maneuver around and somehow keeps his body and neck more straight. Our friend Claudia gifted us one of these and we promptly went out and bought two more.
