When I was a kid it seemed the cool thing to do was dip your fingers in a big 'ol jar of Kool-Aid and lick it off... kind of like Fun Dip. I remember being... I don't know, maybe 8 or 9... and I had a friend over for a sleepover. We were watching TV (inches from it, of course) on the rug, dipping our fingers in Kool-Aid. Somehow the tub or envelope dumped over and the powder was all over the rug. So what would any kid cleaning something off the rug do? You got it - I drenched the spot in water and turned what would have been easy vacuum clean up into a giant red stain on my parent's rug.
The Doha connection? Sugar-Free Kool-Aid is an addiction of mine and costs around $6-7 a canister here. I was looking at costs on Amazon to see if one of Kevin's co-workers could bring some back for me when they go to Houston when I noticed this fabulous product called Kool-Aid Invisible. I have no idea how long it's been out... all I know is that 20 years later, some parents' nice wool rug has just been saved.
