So how sandy is the desert... really?

Well, the good news is that we both have cars, now!

The bad news? Well, this is what happens to Kev's new Santa Fe after one dusty, sandy day in the garage. The car started out black, FYI.

Until I get my driver's license, my Sportage will be sitting sadly in the driveway collecting delightful dusty sand like these pics. Unfortunately, my DL is delayed until I get my resident's permit which is delayed until I can get my HIV test and fingerprinting completed. Apparently getting an appointment for these 2 steps in the process is not as easy as one would think. :(
